What to do in Arcachon?

The city of Arcachon is full of hidden treasures, monuments full of history and unmissable events. The Arcachon Basin

The Arcachon Basin includes a large number of towns and villages typical of the region. You may be lucky enough to visit one of the Basin's markets, such as Arcachon or La Teste de Buch. Many jetties and oyster ports await you when you come to Arcachon; we particularly recommend the Aiguillon, Biganos and Larros markets. Beautiful walks, bike rides or boat trips are on the agenda in the Arcachon Basin, to discover the Teich bird sanctuary or the salt meadows of La Teste de Buch. We recommend that you follow the coastal path from Arcachon to observe all the beauties of the Basin.

The beaches of Arcachon

Idleness, sunbathing, rest, swimming and conviviality will be on the program of your stopover on the ocean beaches like that of La Salie. The Dune of Pilat

Climb to the top of the Dune du Pilat, the highest dune in Europe. At the very top, you will have one of the most beautiful landscapes and panoramas of the entire Arcachon Bay. With its exceptional dimensions (106 meters high and 3 kilometers long), the Dune du Pilat impresses visitors from all over the world.

Bird Island

The Arguin bench
